Biographical Information:

Peter was born on 25th November 1923 in Arnold, Nottinghamshire to Edwin and Evelyn Reddall. The family later lived in Ingatestone, Essex. He joined the Navy in October 1938 and was drafted to H.M.S. Warspite. He was assigned to H.M.S. Ganges in October of the following year. He was posted to Devonport in May 1940 and subsequently to the Isle of Man in October 1940. He joined Hood in March 1941. He was 17 years old at the time of his loss.
