Biographical Information:

Leonard was born on 23rd October 1922 to Joseph and May Blow, of Sheffield, Yorkshire. He had three older sisters, Mona, Sarah and Florence. Following his father's death, his mother remarried and had two further sons, John and Frederick.

He was 18 years old at the time of his loss.
