Biographical Information:

Alfred was born on 19th April 1903 to parents Alfred and Jessie Bocutt in Trinity, Dover. The family lived on Longfield Rd, Dover. He attended The Royal Hospital School, Holbrook from May 1935 to March 1918. He joined the Royal Marines on 7th June 1920 and was trained at RMLI, Portsmouth. He was the husband of Dorothy Bocutt. The lived with their daughter in Taunton, Somerset.

Alfred is known to have served aboard Hood for approximately 4 years. He was 38 years old at the time of his loss. We have no additional information.
