Biographical Information:

Tony, as he was known, was the son of Captain Bertram Davies, O.B.E., R.N.R., and Ida Davies, of Mossley Hill, Liverpool. His father was Commodore of the Cunard Line and had served as Captain of the R.M.S. Queen Mary during the Second World War.

Tony was 19 years old at the time of his loss.
