Biographical Information:

Ted, as he was known to his family and friends, was born on 26th May 1923 to Harry and Lillian Dewey, of Basingstoke, Hampshire. He joined the Navy and was trained at H.M.S. St Vincent (at Gosport) in 1938. He was 17 years old at the time of his loss.
